CrayPen Painting

Elementary Materials for Impressionism

Introduced by a life-long mentor, painting landscapes with a CrayPen has brought me outside during the recent quarantine.  Using crayons and a heating tool I am able to recreate photographs I've taken while traveling in an impressionistic style that reminds me fondly of oil painting. Contact directly for commissioned pieces

Paint.

Painting was the first medium I was taught to use.  My grandmother and grandfather were both painters, so brush etiquette and the color wheel were basic staples of my education.  Starting with painting small pictures has since evolved into two-story murals scattered throughout the continental US.  While my focus has become ceramics, paint will always be a flowing and detailed friend that offers a wide platform to convey the message.
