Tell-Tale Mop

In June of 2018, a small community in Texas, five miles from the boarder of Mexico, was devastated by flash flooding, pouring over a years worth of rain in the desert climate in a matter of fourteen hours.    When the All Hands and Hearts - Smart Response disaster assessment response team arrived on the ground to begin work they had difficulty identifying damaged homes because the outward signs of flooding were so few.  Quickly, the sign that a home was in need of flood relief became a mop, often left standing, leaning, or laying out to dry on stoops and patios.
